Therapeutic Recreation

Certificate

This program prepares students for employment as therapeutic recreation specialists in health care facilities, day care centers, nursing homes, and facilities serving individuals with physical or mental disabilities. Students successfully completing the program receive a certificate from Gateway Community College that is recognized as qualifying them for positions as entry-level TR specialists.
